One of the benefits of living in Atlanta is the close proximity to Road Atlanta thus enabling attendance at events such as the HSR Walter Mitty races.  While I've been before, this year was the first that I had an active, albeit small, role in one of the race participants.  Being that up close and personal for the event really stirs the blood, and I can only imagine how exciting it must be to sit in driver's seat.  There is so much activity and so many things to see and do that it's impossible to cover all the bases, but let's just say that it's a blast, so do yourself a favor sometime and go out to your local race course if you haven't - you won't regret it.
